While the choreography has not changed since its premiere in 2005, the solo has definitely evolved. Says Daniel: “I’ve remained faithful to the steps, however the performance has deepened and become more theatrical. I’ve become more manipulative with the audience – if they don’t respond, I take responsibility for that. Character has truly become an interactive piece.”
