DG Celebrates 20 Years with New Film

Daniel’s choreography was first produced in 1995 during Artichoke Dance Company’s premiere season, Fall Harvest, at the Merce Cunningham Studio. Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company was formed in 1998 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1999. For the last twenty years Daniel has produced, choreographed, directed, filmed, taught and performed dance without pause. This anniversary reel celebrates a range of residencies and projects. Musicality, virtuosity, accessibility and humor have been hallmarks of his work since the beginning of his career.
