DANIEL’S OFF TO FRANCE ON A FELLOWSHIP: Four Week Residency at Dora Maar Cultural Center. Daniel leaves for Ménerbes, Provence, May 30 for a month-long residency, June 4-July 4, at the esteemed Maison Dora Maar, named for the great artist who lived in the house Picasso gave her. Beginning June 9 he’ll keep a weekly Travelogue, and will present work at a Salon on June 20. “The Dora Maar House residency program offers residencies for individuals of exceptional vision to produce enduring works of arts, literature, and scholarship.” One of his projects will be the creation of a dance film involving the local community.
