Blowout Premieres Saturday, 11/21, 8pm EST

Thank you for your interest in attending Ithaca College’s Shifting Spaces! The program will consist of three dance films choreographed by Amy O’Brien, Aimee Rials, and Daniel Gwirtzman, all full-time faculty in the College’s Department of Theatre Arts. Shifting Spaces’  themes revolve around the concept of space in three distinct environments: landscape, exterior, and interior. Blowout, Daniel’s explosive new dance, uses interior locations to tackle the theme of interiority, exploring the characters’ thoughts, feelings, reactions, and inner struggles. The event livestreams on Saturday, November 21st, at 8:00pm EST through a Zoom Webinar hosted by the college. There will be a pre-show presentation of the designers’ work, in addition to a talkback with the cast, choreographers, and collaborators following the performance!
