REFORM
Queens Museum of Art
Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Friday, August 28, 2009, 6:30pm, FREE
Reform, a site-specific dance commissioned by the Queens Museum of Art for a cast of ten dancers, premiered in the forty-foot high Triangle Gallery at the Queens Museum of Art. Reform sets the dancers moving full throttle through expansive spatial and sculptural formations. Woven into this compositional reformation is a narrative of change, in which a solitary figure has the power to incite and transform the group. A free performance, at the Museum, occured Friday, August 28, 6:30pm.
