Thanks to Governor Kathy Hochul, and Katherine Nicholls, Chair, and Mara Manus, Executive Director, of the New York State Council on the Arts, Daniel has received a $10,000 choreographic commission grant. The funds will help produce e-Motion: A Journey Into the Merging of Neuroscience and Performance at The Cherry Arts, Ithaca, NY, May 28-June 4, 2023. This dance-theater work is a collaboration between playwright Saviana Stanescu, who will create the text, and Gwirtzman’s choreography. The piece will be performed by the Company.
